Film-making is my means to identify myself and communicate with others.
Since I left Ecuador I have learnt how to cultivate my spirit as storyteller and I found many places and people who have enriched my vision with their life codes and habits.
However, their experiences are not mine, and therefore I am searching for the language that can be my own and through which I can tell their and my stories.
In my case the visual experience can also give me the possibility to explore my personal territory, an imaginary place as rich as the world in which I live.
The reason I make films is that in my opinion a film has the elements that will help me to shape and translate these ideas into a language that everybody can understand.
